Each piece of our Market Sultan copper-ware begins with a master artisan hand-embossing intricate designs into pure copper—using time-honoured techniques passed down through centuries. The embossed discs are then shaped into elegant goblets, dishes, and vases, and finished in our signature patina colours. Whether styled in a modern home or a vintage setting, our copper-ware brings a touch of timeless Persian artistry to any space.
Today, Persian copper-ware can be found in a variety of settings, from fine homes to gypsy house-trucks.
So it is hard to imagine that methods of embossing haven’t changed over the centuries!
Here, a craftsman carefully decorates copper plates by hand. Our Market Sultan copper-ware goes through the same process.
Once embossed, the flat discs are sent to a factory to be shaped into goblets, sweet dishes and vases, and patinated in one of our trademark colours.
